We are pleased to present our state-of-the-art breeding facility located on 140 acres of lush pasture land in the heart of picturesque Niagara. We are a progressive, family-run operation that is committed to producing sound, sensible and highly-talented sport horses with aptitude toward the Olympic disciplines.

The Hanoverian horse originated in Hanover, Germany. Many of the world's most successful Hanoverian stallions are found at the Celle State Stud in Celle, Germany. The modern Hanoverian horse is the result of 300 years of highly-selective breeding. At Knight's Gate Hanoverians, we breed our Registered and Approved Hanoverian mares to the best Licensed and Elite stallions from various countries of the world, the majority of which are stallions directly from the Celle State Stud.  

At Knight's Gate Hanoverians, the cornerstone of our breeding programme is the continuation in the same spirit of selective horse breeding that has already made the Hanoverian so successful. In pursuit of this goal, we breed horses with the most Elite pedigrees.

Our initiative is to develop modern-type equine athletes that possess the attributes so greatly sought by today's most successful riders. Among the characteristics that we breed for are: conformation, movement, disposition, and style. Our selective breeding programme allows us to offer you that unique, stylish "cutting edge" type of horse that every judge looks for and your competition desires.

In addition, Knight's Gate Hanoverians offers boarding, breeding, coaching, and training as other services that cater to the needs of horse and rider. Our stable, staff and facilities are fully-equipped to provide you and your horse with professional care and the resources to further your equestrian goals.

Dressage Coach/Trainer Wanted 

Seeking Classical Dressage Coach/Trainer with existing student base to teach students and train horses from our farm. Coach must be showing at Level III or higher with experience in and willingness to break horses. Please apply with resume via email through website.

Are you a talented and experienced English rider for whom finances prevent you from owning or showing a horse? 

Come join our team of riders who ride top quality Hanoverians! All English disciplines welcome. 

Upon a successful riding evaluation, you will be matched with a selection of horses to ride and train. Riding 2 horses for us 3+ days per week? We pay for your showing and show-related memberships! 

You must be 18 years or over and have your own transportation to the farm. Please email your riding credentials.
